Privacy
This site belongs to The Amber Accord, created by Paul Chiola. You can read and listen without telling us anything. The only thing we keep is what you give us when you sign up for news of new episodes.
What we keep
- Your email address.
- The language you voted for, if you chose one.
- Which page you signed up on.
What we use it for
To email you when new episodes and editions of The Amber Accord are out. We do not sell or share your address, and there are no ads on this site.
Where it is kept
Netlify, the company that hosts this site, stores the sign-ups for us. If we later use an email service to send our emails, we will name it here.
What your own browser remembers
The storybook and the read-aloud page remember a few things on your device only: which voice you chose, where you got to, and that Part Two or the read-aloud is open. Nothing of this is sent to us. There are no tracking cookies and no analytics.
Pictures and voices
The pictures and the voices are sent to your browser by Higgsfield’s content network. Like any web server, it sees your device’s internet address when it sends them.
Children
The sign-up is for grown-ups. Children never need to give us anything to read or listen.
Leaving, or asking what we hold
Every email we send has a way to leave the list. You can also write to us at hello@amberaccord.com and we will tell you what we hold, or delete it.
